Crypto it’s about what I wanted to do with my life. Same way, you must find what you want to do with yours. Retirement age is around 65 years in most countries, so you can choose to work until then. The life expectancy is around 77 years, so that means that you have around 13 full years to enjoy freedom. But it’s not guaranteed that you’ll be able to do it even then, or afford to live as you want.

The only way to escape that, if you want to escape it, is to find ways to grow your income that are not dependent of your presence.

Please read that again and see if you resonate with it. I was always looking to find such ways. One of my first sources of passive income was selling photos on Shutterstock. I worked for a couple of weeks and uploaded some photos. And I am still selling those photos again and again.

But it wasn’t something that would help me retire, and if I wanted to make real money out of it, I found out that it takes a lot of time and my freedom was gone.

For most people, working from 9 to 5 is a way of paying the bills, and counting days until the next paycheck.

Now, if there is a way of changing the quality of your life, why not take it? Learning about investing in crypto changed my life.

I started shifting my focus from the typical career, where I was focused on these things, which might sound very familiar:

  • Getting better at my 9 to 5 job, putting everything into it
  • Pay the mortgage and all your bills
  • Get a 10 days vacation, once a year
  • Save some money

The objectives that shifted my focus and eventually my life were:

  • Investing more time in educating myself about crypto and blockchain technology

  • Investing money into stocks and eventually crypto

  • Prioritizing stuff to do for myself instead after the 9 to 5 job

And finally, here are some thoughts you should remember, no matter what your day job is, or what your priorities in life are:

  • Each day is important, not only weekends and vacations, so make sure you live each day to its fullest
  • It’s not work if you are enjoying it, so find the things that make you happy and bring you lots of satisfaction
  • Write a list of things that matter for you, and focus only on those things

That is what I’m doing and it’s the best life I could ever had. What is your dream in life and what are you doing to get towards it?
